Introduction
Organisations across the country rely on ABM visual to deliver their outcomes on the ground, on time, at scale. Few projects prove that better than the work we did with Cérge: the 360 capture behind the Inclusive Sport Challenge, a Queensland Government backed program to make 50 sporting venues accessible in 50 days. When the deadline was fixed and the venues were spread across the state, the capture was ours to help deliver.
What Cérge does
Cérge is a Queensland digital accessibility platform, co-founded by Chris and Victoria Kerrisk, that helps people with disability confidently navigate community spaces. Its tools include AI wayfinding, sensory guides, pre-visit communication and 360 degree virtual tours, so a person can understand a venue, how to get in, how to get around, what the space is like, before they ever leave home. For many people with disability, that removes the single biggest barrier to visiting somewhere new: the fear of the unknown.
The challenge: 50 venues, 50 days
Backed by the Queensland Government, Cérge delivered the Inclusive Sport Challenge: a digital concierge and accessibility information rollout across 50 sporting venues in 50 days. A deadline that tight, across venues from Brisbane and the Gold Coast to Townsville and Cairns, leaves no room for a capture partner who cannot keep pace. The 360 tours that let users explore each venue had to be captured, consistently and to standard, at the rate of roughly one venue a day.
Where ABM visual delivered
ABM visual captured the venues that made those virtual tours possible. Twenty venues were captured solo, across the state. A further twenty-nine were captured alongside Chris. Beyond the 360 imagery, we recorded the sensory reality of each space on the ground, the light and glare, the sound, the smells, the feel of a room, so the sensory guides that accompany each tour reflect what a visitor will actually experience. Every capture had to meet the same standard whether it was a major stadium or a local facility, because a person relying on it to plan their visit needs it to be right. That is the job we were trusted with, and we delivered it, on schedule, across another state.
Why it matters
This was never only a logistical exercise. The greatest barrier for many people with disability is not the building, it is not knowing what to expect inside it. A 360 tour and an honest sensory guide answer that before arrival, and turn a daunting unknown into a place someone can visit with confidence. Being trusted to capture the spatial data behind that, at this scale and pace, is among the most rewarding work we do.
Final Thought
When an outcome depends on the capture being done right, done consistently, and done on time, wherever it is, that is the work ABM visual is trusted with. Cérge is building something that genuinely changes lives, and we are proud to be the capture partner they rely on to help make it possible.
