Case Study
A Local Art Prize, Explored From 87 Countries
Captured as a 3D virtual gallery by ABM visual, the Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize has been explored more than 8,700 times by visitors from 87 countries, and counting.

A physical exhibition has two limits built in: where it is, and how long it stays open. Spatial capture removes both.
The Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize 2025, hosted by the Adelaide Park Lands Association at the Adelaide Festival Centre, ran for a few weeks in one building in one city. ABM visual captured it as a 3D virtual gallery, and that gallery is still open and being visited from around the world.
The numbers
Since the tour went live, the digital gallery has been genuinely global:
More than 8,700 page views
Almost 5,900 unique visitors
An average of over 1 minute 40 seconds spent exploring per visit
Visitors from 87 countries
The reach is the point. A local South Australian art prize has been viewed by people in 87 countries. For an exhibition, that is exposure no physical space could deliver: the same artworks, the same curation, in front of an audience 87 countries wide.
Still open, long after the doors closed
The physical exhibition closed to the public on 29 April 2025. The virtual gallery did not. It has kept drawing visitors ever since, artwork by artwork, with no expiry date, cost of admission, or physical access required. The art keeps being seen. The artists keep being discovered. The event keeps delivering, long after the venue booking ended.
Why it matters
An exhibition is an enormous amount of work for a short window in a single location. A 3D capture takes that same work and gives it a second life: permanent, and open to the entire world. What was a few weeks in one building has become a gallery that anyone can walk through, from anywhere, at any time.
If you are running a major exhibition or festival in South Australia, the capture is what lets your impact reach past the venue walls, and outlast the closing date.
