The Company We Keep: Powering Xtour3D's Construction Digital Twins
ABM visual is Xtour3D's South Australian capture partner. A look at the reciprocal partnership between two Matterport reality capture providers.

Introduction
Organisations across the country rely on ABM visual to deliver their outcomes on the ground. When a company builds a service on spatial data, the whole thing depends on the capture being done right, and done to a consistent standard, wherever the job is. That is the work we are trusted with. Our partnership with Xtour3D is a clear example: when Matterport chose to write a case study on Xtour3D's work, it confirmed the calibre of what they do, and that is the standard we deliver to on the ground as their South Australian capture partner.
The work: pre-plaster quality assurance
Xtour3D solves a costly construction problem. When a subcontractor cuts into a wall without knowing what is behind it, the result is rework, delays and disputes. The fix is to capture a space at the pre-plaster stage, before the walls close up, giving every trade, builder and architect one accurate, shared record of exactly what is inside them. Plumbing, wiring, framing, all documented and measurable, permanently. It is a genuinely effective application of digital twins, and it is the kind of high-value capture ABM visual delivers.
Validated by Matterport
Matterport does not write case studies about ordinary work. They featured Xtour3D's pre-plaster service because the results were real: over $10,000 in rework and two weeks of delay avoided on one project, and an estimated 30 hours of staff time saved on another by replacing a site visit with a remote review. That is the standard this work is held to, and the standard we capture to every time we deliver it.
Why organisations partner with ABM visual
ABM visual and Xtour3D are both Matterport Capture Services providers. A year ago we formalised a partnership so that when Xtour3D needs capture in South Australia, we are the ones on the ground, and over the past year we have delivered multiple captures across the greater Adelaide region under it. It is the same reason Cérge, Walkthrus and others across the country work with us: when your outcome depends on the quality of the capture, you need a partner who delivers to your standard, in your region, every time. That is what we do, across every industry we work in.
Final Thought
A digital twin is only as good as the capture behind it. Xtour3D proves what the technology can do for construction, and Matterport agrees. ABM visual is trusted to deliver that same standard of work, on the ground, wherever it is needed, for the organisations who rely on us to get it right.
