One Capture, Six Outcomes: The Himeji Garden Story
A single test capture of Adelaide Himeji Garden, shot to trial one of the first Pro3 cameras in the region, has since drawn over 364,000 Street View views and featured across Matterport's own channels.

Introduction
In late 2022, Matterport offered early access to its new Pro3 camera to fewer than 20 Capture Technician partners across the entire APAC region, before resellers, before distributors, before general release. ABM visual was one of them. Adelaide Himeji Garden was one of the first captures made to test the camera. It was never meant to be a showcase. It became one anyway.
364,000 Street View views
The Himeji Garden tour has drawn 364,296 views on Google Street View, the most-viewed tour across ABM visual's entire portfolio of 86 venues. It has been live for over 1,700 days and averages more than 200 views a day. From a single test capture
A public Matterport model with real reach
The same capture, hosted on Matterport, has recorded 6,518 impressions, 3,554 visits, and 2,139 unique visitors. These figures are the aggregate across everywhere the Matterport tour has been embedded and viewed, wherever it has been placed, by whoever placed it, all counted back to the one model. You can walk through it here: Step inside the garden.
Featured in two Matterport Discover collections
Matterport selected the tour for two separate curated collections on its own Discover platform, including Celebrating Earth, sitting alongside natural landmarks from around the world. See the first collection and the second.
Featured on the Adelaide Park Lands website
The tour was published on the Adelaide Park Lands website, placing the capture in front of a public, civic audience. View the feature.
Featured in a Matterport blog on LiDAR accuracy
Matterport embedded the tour as the worked example in its article "LiDAR vs. Reality: Understanding Accuracy in 3D Scanning," under the section on environmental conditions, illustrating how the Pro3 handles variable outdoor light, direct sunlight, reflection and open sky, the exact conditions that challenge LiDAR. The ABM visual capture is the live tour readers explore to see it for themselves. https://matterport.com/learn/lidar/accuracy
Embedded on this site
The tour is embedded on this page too. If you have read this far, you have already seen the sixth outcome the moment this page opened.
Final Thought
One capture, many outcomes. Made only to test a new camera, but captured to the same industry-leading standard ABM visual brings to every job. Our quality of output does not change with the conditions. It became the most-viewed tour in our GSV portfolio, drew public audiences across multiple platforms, and was chosen by Matterport itself to demonstrate the Pro3's accuracy in the conditions LiDAR finds hardest. When Matterport needed a capture to represent their own camera to the world, they reached for ours. That is what industry-leading capture looks like, chosen by Matterport to prove it.
